5 Easy Ways You Can Thank Coronvirus Hero
These past view months have been tough for you, me, and us. We all have been fighting together to fight the coronavirus pandemics. January was good for the rest of the world, while China was ahead of us fighting for COVID-19. Then in February 2020, the breakout suddenly reached all nations in the world. Forcing all people to do social distancing, self-isolation, self-quarantine, and all terms used to keep us just stay at the home. Doctors and nurses until now are all fightings in the hospital trying to save as many people as possible to recover from the novel of Sars-Cov-2 or widely known as coronavirus.
If you're lucky enough you can now feel bored at home. Yes, I said you're lucky to be bored at home. You didn't read it wrong. Why you ask? Because there are still people out there who don't even have time to be bored. During the danger of coronavirus outbreak, they still have to work outside. Probably risking their lives, to save another life. This is the cost of dealing with coronavirus pandemics.
They're our heroes. Yes. Who knows that not all heroes wear caps? Some of them wear a stethoscope, some of them wear a blue gown, some of them riding the motorbike bringing your food, some of them wear gloves distributing masks, and many more. Coronavirus surely changes the who we should call heroes.
Here are 5 ways that I think good and fair enough to thank the hero.
1. Send your Money
Yes, you read it right. How much money have you made throughout your life? Have you given back your money to society all these years? If you haven't, this is a good chance for you to do it. What if you've always given back before? Then, do more of it. Nothing hurts by giving a little bit more for those who need it.
You can find the local non-profit organization that does help people in need during coronavirus pandemics. Remember, donate wisely. Choose the organization that you know to have good names, purpose, and vision.
2. Give them Tips
If you still use service from essential workers, give them tips. Any amount of tips possible will make their day brighter. In case you're wondering, what kind of essential worker service, it's easy. Ubereats, Instacart, Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, Delivery.com, goPuff, ChowNow, and what else? You name it. After they deliver your food and essentials, smile, say thank you, and give them tips.
Make their day as bright as yours.
3. Say Thank You
I know, sounds so obvious right? But as obvious as it is, have you said it, though? If you haven't, this is your chance to say it. Do you have a doctor or nurse friend? Text them and say you're grateful to have friends like them. No, they won't feel burdened by your words. Instead, they will smile and be glad to read your message.
Just imagine you're having a bad day and suddenly an old friend text you just to say thank you and tell you they're grateful to have a friend like you. How would you feel? I bet it's nothing negative.
Oh, and remember the hero is not only doctors and nurses. Don't forget all the essential workers too. Without them, you wouldn't live comfortably at home right now.
4. Just Stay Home
How cheesy it can be to just stay home is a way to thank the heroes during the COVID-19 outbreak? Fortunately, it is really one of the ways you could thank them. The more you just stay at home, the more you valued their job, time, and energy. Because it means you care about them by not trying to increase the chance of coronavirus in this world.
So people, remember this. As simple as just you staying at home, it already means that you're trying to thank the heroes during coronavirus pandemics.
5. Be Healthy
There's another simple yet not so easy way to thank them. Be healthy! During the COVID-19 outbreak, everything feels like a mess. Especially for people who work in the hospital. I'm pretty sure you know that a lot of people are suffering in the hospital. You know it too, right, that doctors and nurses are fighting so hard to make the patients recover as fast as possible.
So, what is the better way to help those in this wrecking situation than just try to be healthy? Eat healthy food, drink enough mineral water, sleep responsibly. Try your best to not have any need to go to the hospital. Let the doctors and nurses focus on coronavirus patients until we can find the perfect medicine and vaccines to finish these pandemics.
There you go. Those are 5 simple ways you can thank the heroes during coronavirus pandemics. Remember that every hard situation will pass. Just try to be calm and adapt to the situation. Everyone is having a hard time, but guess what? Good minds and a positive attitude can spread happiness and help the heroes to keep fighting and do well for good outcomes.
Cheers, A.
